The Hook
70 + 2The AP exam is 70 multiple-choice questions, plus two written questions about a program you will have written yourself. That is it. Everything on this site exists to get you there, and nothing on it is busywork aimed somewhere else.

The Idea
How the year is shaped:
Every lesson ends with a few questions in real exam format. Instant feedback, low stakes, constant practice.
Every week has a System Check — ten questions, six from this week and four from anything earlier. Old material never gets more than seven days cold.
Every unit ends by rebuilding the map and a test in exam format.
Twice before it counts, you do a practice version of the Create Performance Task — the real thing in miniature, scored with the real rubric.
The habit that matters most: answer, then find out why you were wrong. The explanation is the lesson. The score is just a number.
One thing worth saying plainly. The written questions on exam day are about your own program — one you will spend three weeks building in the spring. Students who take the practice runs seriously walk into May having already done it twice.

Try It
Your baseline — and yes, it is supposed to be hard
Two things today, both ungraded, both kept on file:
Ten questions. You have not been taught most of this. Answer anyway; guess where you must.
The photo trip, alone. Same trace as Monday, no partner, no board.
You will do both again in December and once more in April. The point is not today's score. The point is that in four months you will look at today's paper and be a little embarrassed by it — which is exactly the plan.
